WorkBC offers a variety of resources for adults and youth alike. Visit their website to see education planning tools, career profiles, skills training programs, and other employment services.

Eligibility criteria: WorkBC's youth specific programs are generally open to employment ready youth ages 16 - 29.

Foundry Works

A free employment and education program for those interested in working, going to school, or completeing a training program. Foundry Works has a drop-in program available at their Abbotsford location on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:30.

Eligibility criteria: Any BC youth between the ages of 15-24 who is experiencing multiple barriers to work, school, or training.

Buxton Consulting

A customized, flexible employment skills training program that provides free short-term certificate training, job search assistance, and small group workshop opportunities for individuals facing multiple barriers to employment. 

Eligibility criteria: Individuals ages 16+ facing multiple barriers to employment, available in a variety of training locations.

Provides at-risk young adults with a combination of one-on-one, in-person and virtual essential skills and occupational skills training. It provides financial supports where needed, a stipend for achieving goals and offers group workshops for additional supports.

Eligibility criteria: Individuals ages 16-29 experiencing barriers or challenges that directly impact their ability to prepare, find and maintain employment; training is available in-person and in a virtual environment.
