Youth in Community is our first volunteering event in connection with our Involved program.

The event is focused on giving back to our neighbours in the community and providing youth with some volunteer training along the way.

What are we doing?

We will be creating care packages and delivering them in small groups to the friendly neighbours of AYC. Teens will have the chance to receive some volunteer training and help make gift packages. From making friendship braceletes to thank you cards and cookies, youth will get the chance to connect with other like minded youth while also making a difference in the community. 

Invite a friend and come have a blast with the most fun you'll have volunteering!

What do youth get?

Volunteer hours, the chance to meet other youth who are volunteering, connect with youth workers who are engaged in our community, give back, receive training, and build leadership skills.

When is it happening?

April 5, 2025, 1PM - 5PM at the ARC Youth Centre - pre-registration is required!

How do I register?

Registration is $10 per person. Complete the whole day and you will receive a $10 gift card and an AYC Volunteer Certificate
