Summer has only just begun, but the AYC is already heating up for an amazing schedule of summer day camps, free youth drop-in, and activities all summer long! Check out our what we're offering this summer!
Day Camps
We have half-day camps and full-day camps all summer long. Whether you’re interested in upcycling, the arts, or the Olympics, we’ve got something for everyone!
If you’re an artist at heart, join us for Encounter the Arts, which includes a guided tour and try of the Reach Gallery and Museum. Maybe you’re more the sporting type and want to sign up for our AYC Summer Olympics camp. Test your physical and mental strength and finish up the week an awesome field trip playing horseshoes with the Abbotsford horseshoe club. All full day camps include a field trip and a ton of fun surprises.
Our half-day camps are filled with awesome activities, snacks, and experiences. Whether you're looking for a splash, a mindful morning, or a way to get thrifty, we have an amazing variety of half-day camps for youth this summer.

Summer Drop-In
Our two youth centres at ARC and MRC are open for free drop-in this summer. MRC is only open the first and last week of the summer, but ARC is open all summer long!
There's a new drop-in theme every week, so youth can join us Monday through Friday from 12 - 4:30 for themed snacks and activities, open gym, art projects, video games, and more.
Artful Moments
Join us every Tuesday this summer at ARC from 2:30 - 3:30 as we take time to do mindful art activities. There will be space to chat, create and share (or not). You can also bring your own small projects to work on. Let’s intentionally pause and create our very own Artful Moments.
Lifeskills Courses
We offer both the Red Cross Babysitter’s course (ages 11-15) and Foodsafe course (ages 14-18) this summer. Consider taking advantage of summer and our flexible course selection, and register now to secure your spot!
Babysitter’s Course:
- July 22 - 25 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (MRC)
- July 29 - Aug 1 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (MRC)
- Aug 19 - 22 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (ARC)
