Are you interested in learning employment skills to get a job in the future?

Come join us for our life skills topic of employment this month! This program is funded by the Ted Rogers Scholarship fund and seeks to engage youth about different life skills each and every month! We approach our life skills topics in a fun and interactive way in order to really drive the point home! Following a brief discussion about employment skills, youth participate in activities which teach these skills without even knowing it. In order to hit the ball out of the park, facilitators engage youth in debrief sessions to discuss the purpose of the activity and what was learned. In April, youth will engage in activities about negotiation, time management and prioritization of tasks.

Our Youth Focus group which meets once a week at both Centers 5:00-6:00 on Wednesdays @ ARC and 5:00-6:00 on Thursdays @ MRC and will be covering these topics through the month of April.

Youth Focus participants also receive a free snack for attending and participating. Come lead, use your voice and have a good time!
